services for artists
Since 2000, Carolina Gallery has provided printing, framing, and fine art for businesses, institutions, and indiviudals.
We understand. Typically, artists are on a tight budget. When you frame a piece of work, it is with the intention of selling it. But...flea market frames tend to command flea market prices for your work.
Many of our competitors buy frames ready-made, mark them up, and pass the expense on to you. This can bump up your cost 25%-50% or more.
We buy full-length sticks of moulding in bulk (often discounted), and manufacture the frame in-house to give you the best quality for the best price. We also work with you to find the least expensive solution that will best present your work.
Our framing is a great deal, but don't forget we print giclees as well! If you haven't previously used us for your fine art printing, please get in touch. We shoot high quality, large format digital images of your artwork using a Phase 3 camera, and print giclees on acid free canvas and papers using fade-resistant pigmented ink.
From consultation to selection, to delivery and installation, we cover your needs from start to finish. Our family-owned business has grown and evolved over the past twenty years, imparting us with the knowledge and skill sets to provide you with exactly what you need.
Quality is important. We can fill your needs, from shadow boxes to poster, painting, and photo framing. We carry hundreds of unique, high-quality moulding samples, and will special order custom mouldings upon request.
There are a number of reasons that some of our customers aren't comfortable hanging their work themselves: large, heavy pieces; mirrors; complex groupings; and hard to reach places are often best left to professionals. Some of hanging systems we use include the following:
Although we are happy to create quality printed materials for Marketing purposes, our specialization is FINE ART DIGITAL PRINTING on paper and canvas.
When you walk into a room, how important is your first impression? Not of the people in the room, but of the room itself. Think back to all of the places you have been; what stands out? Though exact details may escape you now, the general feel of the room remains. Positive or negative, the wall color, the floors, the furniture, the artwork? At Carolina Gallery, we understand the importance of a first impression. We specialize in the sale of fine art originals to collectors, interior designers, architects, and other professionals. Our staff has a combined fifty years of curatorial experience, and can assist with the following:
